INSPIRE Hydrography (hy-p) Iceland

Hydrography (HY) Iceland is one of 12 themes in the European Location Project (ELF).

The purpose of ELF is to create harmonised cross-border, cross-theme and cross-resolution pan-European reference data from national contributions. The goal is to provide INSPIRE-compliant data for Europe.

Statement

The data is migrated from the Icelandic dataset „LMÍ IS 50V Vatnafar“. The hydrography data is in three layers: lines, polygons and points.

The processing steps: Feature mapping from the national datamodel to the INSPIRE datamodel. A python program build to migrate the national data according to the feature mapping.
